Abstract in another language
Blends of oligoarylenevinylenes were prepared with polycarbonate, resp. polystyrene These blends were investigated by electron microscopy as well as by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) measurements. Block copolymers with well defined arylenevinylene segments were prepared by polycondensation of OH-functionalized oligoarylenevinylenes and aliphatic biscarboxylic acid chlorides. Arylenevinylene functionalized polystyrenes were prepared by Pd-catalyzed coupling reactions.
