The cover shows the synthesis of gold nanoparticles generated on spherical polyelectrolyte brushes. Immersed in water these polyelectrolyte chains can be used to enrich [AuCl4]−ions, which can be reduced to gold nanoparticles of approximately 1 nm diameter. Studies by cryogenic transmission electron microscopy, together with WAXS and HR‐TEM show an amorphous morphology for these Au‐NP.
