Im Sommer 2023 unterstützten die Universitätsbibliothek Bayreuth und der exzellenzcluster Africa Multiple der Universität Bayreuth gemeinsam eine studentisch geführte Bibliothek in Niamey. Sie initiierten eine umfangreiche Büchersendung in die nigrische Hauptstadt.
