Abstract in another language

Forced undulations caused by a simple wrinkling process deliver unique insights into the mechanical performance of single graphene oxide nanoplatelets and related compounds with sub-micrometer resolution. This metrology is applied on page 1337 by Josef Breu, Andreas Fery, and co-workers to guide more homogeneous oxidation routes to graphene oxide and to discern easily and unambiguously between graphene mono- and bilayers.
