Abstract in another language

A recently developed photocatalytic trifluoromethylation method, with the atomically dispersed photocatalyst Cu-@f-gC3N4 and Togni I reagent as a −CF3 source, was optimized for the functionalization of ferrocene. This photocatalytic reaction proceeded at room temperature under visible-light irradiation, and this functionalization remained compatible with functional groups such as ether and halogens.
