Abstract in another language

Results from mathematical model calculations indicate that nitrogen plays a significant role in removing heat from an industrial, multi-tubular, Fischer-Tropsch (F-T) reactor. Tube diameters can be increased without the danger of a temperature runaway, thus increasing the production rate by a factor of three.
