Summer time fog samples as collected at our mountainous site in Central Europe showed a wide range in its chemical composition. High concentrations of ions were associated with origins of air masses from the East. Threee organo-metallic compounds were found in fog. Their concentrations were strongly enhanced when the corresponding air masses originated from the East.
