Abstract in another language

How can you increase your chances to win a beach volleyball game given your skills? We tackle this question using two interacting Markov Decisions Problems. A more aggregated model is treated analytically, whereas a more detailed model is simulated to calibrate the aggregated model. If actions in the aggregated model are aggressive and timid play, then our method recommends a policy depending on statistics from your teams training sessions and historical observations of the opponent teams skills.
