Die erfolgreiche Umsetzung und Steuerung von IT-Outsourcing-Vorhaben stellt nach wie vor eine große Herausforderung für viele Unternehmen dar. Im vorliegenden Artikel werden Erklärungsansätze für die beobachtete Erfolgsvarianz vorgestellt sowie vier zentrale Handlungsfelder des Managements solcher Vorhaben diskutiert. Als erfolgskritisch wird dabei das richtige Zusammenspiel dieser vier Managementansätze gesehen

The successful realization and management of IT outsourcing ventures is still a great challenge for many companies. This article presents explanatory approaches for the observed success variance and discusses four pivotal fields of action for the management of such ventures. The effective interplay between these management fields is considered to be crucial for a successful implementation.
