Abstract in another language

Planar interdigital capacitors (IDC) covered with a thin Cr₂O₃ layer and a zeolite thick film are known to act as gas sensors. Until now, their impedance behavior has been modeled by equivalent circuits involving constant-phase elements (CPE) with a poor physical justification. We present a physical model for the sensor impedance which is based on the underlying atomistic processes.
