Abstract in another language

The density matrix formalism for quantum kinetics is used to model the Spatiotemporal dynamics of the carrier density after a spatially homogeneous excitation in a coupled semiconductor quantum wire‐dot system. The carrier capture leads to a wave front dynamics in the carrier distribution in the quantum wire region and the formation of a plateau between the fronts. The dynamics are analyzed using different excitation energies.
