Under variation of an external magnetic field a liquid bridge of magnetic fluid disintegrates. We measure the temporal evolution of the minimal neck diameter immediately before the breakup, and compare it with a universal theory. Moreover, we report on the dynamics of satellite drops emanating from the liquid bridge.
