Abstract in another language

In this contribution, we present a brief account of a further generalization of this model to linear conveyors subject to three different types of forcing, i.e. linear, circular and elliptic, and to the experimentally relevant condition of constant (horizontal) mass flow. Specifically, we discuss the difference of the transport properties for the three driving modes and test the validity of the model with representative experimental data.
