Roboter, Cyborgs und Androiden sind augenfällige Erscheinungen des algorithmischen Theaters und ihr Auftreten verändert die Dramaturgie des Gegenwartstheaters fundamental. Dieser Artikel bietet einen Überblick zum Stand der Forschung und verdeutlich am Beispiel von "My Sqare Lady" (Komische Oper/Gob Sqad) worum es im algorithmischen Theater geht. Dabei steht im Zentrum, Algorithmen als dramaturgisches Verfahren aufzufassen.

This article offers a survey on recent achievements in robotics and theatre, sorting some terminology in the field along two lines of thought: Robots, androids, and cybors may as well be new comrades on stage, often set in contrast to humang actors. Or, algorithmic reasoning (as old as mankind) may now substitute reprensentational dramaturgy. The article exemplifies this firts mapping of a fairly new field of study in looking at the example of "My Square Lady" by Komische Oper/Gob Squad.
