Abstract in another language

In our paper, we present an adoption model to explain and derive design principles to support the adoption of mHealth solutions by chronic disease patients. We likewise aim at guiding future developments of mHealth interventions for urinary incontinence (UI) and other chronic health issues. On the base of a systematic literature review, we analyzed the papers identified and built an ex-ante model. To embed the design in a real-world scenario and thereby ensure the relevance and applicability of our findings, we approached building the e-post model through an Action Design Research approach. Therefore, we conducted interviews with UI patients and selected experts in the Alpha-Cycle, and will now conduct a survey in the Beta-Cycle to test and validate our constructs in a larger setting.
