Die Covid-19-Pandemie trifft auf einen Krankenhaussektor, in dem bereits 2019 knapp die Hälfte der Krankenhäuser rote Zahlen schrieb. Selbstverständlich engagierten sie sich trotzdem in der Bewältigung der Pandemie, denn ihr Versorgungsauftrag ist die Gesundheit der Menschen. Und: Sie vertrauten auf das Versprechen der Politik.
