Abstract in another language
Research exploring entrepreneurial orientation (EO) within organizational communications has garnered remarkable traction within premier management and entrepreneurship journals over the past decade. However, a lack of attention to the implications of EO’s conceptualization for theory development has produced confusion regarding what is captured within EO research based on computer-aided text analysis (CATA). This study offers a systematic review of the CATA EO literature and discusses the criticality of understanding communication contexts for theory development, idiosyncrasies, and opportunities when exploring EO within communication contexts, and how studying EO within communication contexts promises to shape organizational analyses and insights within future research.
