Based on a reading of Auerbach's Figura and Mimesis, this study examines the meaning of ‘critique’ as slow motion, an unfolding, gently erupting still life in writing and the literariness and poetics of literary, philosophic-theoretical, photographic, cinematic, and choreographic (con-)texts – awaiting its infinite blossoming.
