Die Sicherung medialer Vielfalt steht vor unbekannten Herausforderungen, die nicht nur, aber auch durch die technologische Entwicklung der Plattformen als Medienökosysteme und künstlicher Intelligenz als formative Kraft der Mediennavigation beschrieben sind. So selbstverständlich Medienvielfalt als Wert eines demokratischen Systems ist, so schwierig ist es, ein klares Bild von der Vielfalt zu entwickeln, die konstitutionell gesichert werden soll. Verknüpft ist dies mit der Logik konstitutioneller Vielfaltssicherung, also der inneren Begründungsstruktur der Verfassungsdogmatik.
