Abstract

Cet article s’intéresse aux dynamiques religieuses au Niger à partir de l’analyse des rencontres interreligieuses nstitutionnalisées au sein des associations du Comité de Dialogue Intra et Intra Religieux (CDIR). Il analyse comment le CDIR contribue à reconfigurer les relations intra et inter-religieuses et par-delà, à la recomposition du paysage religieux nigérien. Pour ce faire, il s’appuie sur les actions et les interactions vécues au sein des associations pour comprendre comment la rencontre de l’autre participe à la transformation des rapports à la différence religieuse.
S’appuyant sur des données ethnographiques produites entre février 2020 et avril 2023, l’article soutient que les associations du CDIR apparaissent comme de nouveaux lieux
de socialisation où le rapport à l’autre participe à la transformation du paysage religieux nigérien.

This article looks at religious dynamics in Niger, through the analysis of institutionalized inter-religious encounters within the associations of the Comité de Dialogue Intra et Intra Religieux (CDIR). It analyzes how the CDIR contributes to the transformation of intra- and inter-religious relations, and more broadly, to the reconfiguration of Niger's religious landscape. To do this, it draws on the actions and interactions experienced within these ssociations to understand how the encounter with others contributes to the transformation of the way religious differences are perceived. Drawing on ethnographic materials collected between February 2020 and April 2023, the article argues that CDIR associations appear as new places of
socialization where the relationship with the other participates in the transformation of Niger's religious landscape.
