Struktur-Funktionsbeziehung analysieren und sogar in biomimetischen Prozessen Seidenfasern nach dem Vorbild der Natur herstellen.

Spider silk is a biopolymer with extraordinary properties. It is extremely tough and at the same time highly elastic – a combination not found in other polymer fibers.
