Abstract in another language

For discrete time nonlinear systems we study the relation between strict dissipativity and the so called turnpike property in optimal control. Under appropriate controllability assumptions we provide several equivalence statements involving these two properties. The relation of strict dissipativity to the exponential turnpike property is also studied.
