Abstract in another language
In this paper, we consider a recently introduced notion of discounted strict dissipativity which is of interest, e.g., in the context of discounted optimal control and economic model predictive control. We consider the question whether (standard) strict dissipativity implies discounted strict dissipa- tivity for discounting factors close enough to one. While in general, this need not be the case, we show that it is indeed true under certain regularity conditions.
