En el presente ensayo se tratará sobre una religión sincretista: la santería mexicana, así como su adaptación a la era postmoderna distinguida por tendencias como interculturalidad y digitalización. Basado en una breve vista general sobre la santería y características del tiempo postmoderno, se desarrollará un análisis de cómo se amolda esa religión afro-cubana en México a los cambios socioculturales y mediáticos de las últimas décadas.
Abstract in another language
This essay deals with a Mexican Santería and its adaptation to the postmodern era distinguished by trends such as interculturality and digitalization. Based on a brief overview of Santería and characteristics of postmodern time, adaptations processes of Afro-Cuban religion in Mexico to the sociocultural and meditic changes of recent decades will be analysed.
