Vergleichsstudien zeigen, dass der Anteil von Lernenden mit besonderen mathematischen Fähigkeiten in Deutschland signifikant abgenommen hat. In einer systematischen Literaturübersicht werden daher Gestaltungsmerkmale von Lernumgebungen identifiziert, die in der empirischen Literatur zur Begabtenförderung genannt werden. Ein erster Überblick zeigt, dass diese Merkmale mindestens teilweise mit Prinzipien qualitätsvollen Mathematikunterrichts übereinstimmen.

Comparative studies show that the proportion of of students with very good mathematical abilities has significantly in Germany. A systematic literature review therefore identifies design features of learning environments highlighted in the empirical literature on gifted education. A preliminary overview reveals that these features align at least partially with principles for high-quality mathematics instruction.
