Abstract in another language
Zeolites are versatile materials for gas sensing applications. Their benefiting properties range from high inner surfaces and high catalytic activities to cation conduction. We took advantage of these properties. In a well-known solid-state CO2 sensor setup, the ion conductor (Nasicon) was replaced by a sodium conductive ZSM-5 zeolite thick-film as top layer in a planar setup. Since the zeolite works simultaneously as a catalytic filter, the sensor cross sensitivities are highly enhanced.
