Abstract in another language

A novel method to significantly reduce the principle-related sensor response time of direct thermoelectric gas sensors is presented. Such sensors are comparable to conductometric sensors in terms of response time and accuracy. Compared to conductometric sensors they show an improved stability towards mechanical defects and a reproducible measure and “Seebeck coefficient".
