Abstract in another language
Conventional two-wire impedance spectroscopy on ion-conducting functional materials give an overall electrical response including bulk and electrode effects. In this work, a planar four-wire electrode structure is presented. Bulk and electrode properties of the measured materials can be separated. In the case of novel zeolite based hydrocarbon gas sensors the mechanism can be attributed without doubts to electrode effects.
