Abstract in another language
For more than twenty years zirconia exhaust gas oxygen (EGO) sensors have dominated the market. Novel upcoming exhaust gas aftertreatment systems require novel sensors for both feedback control and exhaust monitoring. Examples discussed in this contribution are ammonia and hydrocarbon sensors. It is shown that, besides others, zeolite based sensors are very promising candidates for both purposes.
