Abstract in another language

Zeolites are interesting materials for gas sensing applications. Their benefiting properties range from high inner surfaces and high catalytic activities to cation-conduction. We took advantage of these properties. In a potentiometric solid-state CO2 sensor setup, the ion conductor (Nasicon) was be replaced by a sodium conductive, porous ZSM-5 zeolite thick-film as top layer in a planar setup. Since the zeolite works simultaneously as a catalytic filter, the sensor cross selectivities are highly enhanced.
