Abstract in another language
It was a pleasure to meet more than 300 participants in person and some more remotely at MTNS 2022 in Bayreuth. This statement becomes even more pronounced after two years of limited contact within the systems and control community. Approximately 300 talks in 74 sessions, plenaries, or mini courses speak for themselves. In addition to these presentations, the participants had plenty of opportunities to exchange ideas, make contacts, or foster scientific discussions.
Submissions were possible with full papers or extended abstracts. In this volume you find the accepted full papers that were presented at the conference. Among them are one plenary paper "Empowering Optimal Control with Machine Learning: A Perspective from Model Predictive Control" and two semi -plenary papers "Convex Invertible Cones and Nevanlinna-Pick Interpolation: The Suboptimal Case" and "Compressed Sensing and Maximum Hands-Off Control." The topics of the papers of this volume cover the entire spectrum of systems and control theory, ranging from Port-Hamiltonian systems and control of PDEs over learning, portfolio selection, and stochastic systems to optimal and predictive control, the turnpike property, and fundamental concepts like dissipativity.
