Abstract in another language

Mathematical compartment models play an important role in the analysis and prediction of various diseases. We focus on an invading disease in Europe transmitted via mosquitos: dengue fever. In contrast to most contributions, we perform a numerical simulation with temperature dependent transmission coefficients, in order to identify theoretical and numerical differences to the usual autonomous dengue fever models.
